Sustainable Team of the Year

This award recognises the logistics or transport company in Ireland that boasts an exceptional sustainability team which has made a profound impact over the past year. By setting high standards and leading by example, they contribute to the sector’s progress towards a greener future, inspiring others to follow in their footsteps. Entry is by a 5-page A4 PDF submission; the judges will be looking for a clear plan and evidence that it is delivering on core objectives, paying attention to the criteria listed below.

• Team Overview and Structure: Describe your team, including size, roles, and expertise relevant to environmental work. Highlight how the team’s structure enhances its effectiveness in achieving sustainability goals.
• Green Initiatives and Activities: Outline the sustainability initiatives your team undertook this year. Explain the rationale behind these projects and how they align with the company’s sustainability objectives.
• Targets & Measurable Outcomes: State your environmental targets and provide measurable results achieved. Compare these outcomes against industry standards or previous years to illustrate progress and leadership.
• Teamwork & Collaboration: Describe how teamwork contributed to your success. Provide examples of collaboration within your team and with external groups, highlighting their impact on sustainability outcomes.
• Innovation & Creative Solutions: Showcase innovative approaches your team employed to tackle environmental challenges. Include specific metrics that demonstrate the effectiveness and scalability of these solutions.
