This award celebrates the logistics or transportation companies that have demonstrated outstanding commitment to sustainability by developing and implementing eco-friendly supply chain strategies. Entrants should showcase how they have integrated environmentally conscious practices across their supply chain operations, from procurement and transportation to warehousing and waste management. The judges will look for examples of how sustainable initiatives have reduced carbon footprints, minimised waste, optimised energy consumption, or contributed to a circular economy. Entry is by a 5-page A4 PDF submission; the judges will be looking for a clear plan and evidence that it is delivering on core objectives, paying attention to the criteria listed below.

  • Sustainability Strategy Overview: Summarise your supply chain sustainability approach and how eco-friendly practices are integrated into your strategy.
  • Resource Efficiency and Waste Reduction: Describe how you enhance resource efficiency and reduce waste across your supply chain, highlighting key initiatives with supporting data.
  • Environmental Impact: Outline measurable outcomes from your sustainability efforts. Provide examples of practices and metrics or case studies demonstrating reductions in carbon footprints and waste.
  • Innovation in Sustainability: Highlight any innovative practices or technologies and their measurable impact on your sustainability goals.
  • Future Goals: Define your long-term supply chain sustainability goals plans, including any specific targets and how you hope to measure progress against industry standards.
