Michael O’Callaghan, director of IPICS The Supply Chain Management Institute, joins the judging panel for the Irish Logistics & Transport Awards 2026, bringing a wealth of experience in supply chain training, professional education, and industry skills development.

A highly regarded Supply Chain Training Consultant and Instructor, Michael plays a role in advancing supply chain capability across Ireland. He is a member of the Logistics and Supply Chain Skills Group chaired by the Department of Transport, contributing to national discussions on workforce development, capability building, and future skills needs within the sector.

Michael also serves as a judge on both the Irish Logistics & Transport Awards and the National Procurement Awards, offering a well-rounded perspective that spans logistics, supply chain management, and procurement excellence.

Michael is an APICS master instructor on the APICS Instructor Development Program and a subject matter expert for the APICS CPIM programme. He delivers training across the full suite of APICS Supply Chain Certifications, including CPIM, CSCP, CLTD, and CTSC, through online public courses, company-specific sessions, and blended learning programmes, supporting professionals at every stage of their supply chain careers.

As one of the judges, Michael will play a central role in assessing entries across key award categories, bringing his extensive experience to the evaluation process.

The awards gala of the Irish Logistics & Transport Awards 2026 is set to take place on 26 February 2026, bringing together leaders from across Ireland to celebrate innovation and industry leadership.
