Network International Cargo Group UK Ltd, the UK arm of the Dublin-area logistics group, has agreed a 15-year lease at £559,500 per annum on Unit 9, Progress Way, Binley Industrial Estate, Coventry, taking almost double the space. The move from the 27,965 sq ft Unit 5 Cyan Park to the 53,950 sq ft unit supports the group’s daily express services between the UK, Ireland and Europe.

Network International Cargo is an independent, privately owned company based in Cloghran near Dublin, established in 1992 and trading since January 1993. Its holding company reported turnover of €28.4 million for the year to 31 December 2024.

With facilities in Ireland, the UK and Benelux and partners across the world, the company provides logistics and intermodal solutions by road, air and ocean.

The structural driver is express throughput. Tom Bromwich, managing partner of Bromwich Hardy, said, “Network International Cargo’s strategic aim for this facility was to increase the throughput and flow of daily express services to Ireland and Europe, supporting existing customers and driving continued growth through new business.”

The landlord is Rookman Properties Ltd, part of LCP Group, a privately owned investment and property management company based in Kingswinford, Dudley, which operates in the UK, Poland and Germany.

Bromwich added, “We identified Unit 9 Progress Way as ideal for their requirements and are pleased to have worked with LCP to find them a new, substantially larger depot to facilitate growth and ensure that this valuable business stays in Coventry.”

Bromwich Hardy acted for Rookman Properties. Elizabeth Alabaster, in-house counsel at LCP Management Ltd, also acted for the landlord, while Andrew Jones of HCR Wright Hassall in Leamington Spa advised Network International Cargo UK Ltd.

For the sector, the letting shows an Irish forwarder expanding its UK depot network in the West Midlands to handle growing express flows to Ireland and Europe.
