DX Group has entered a strategic partnership with Rhenus Logistics that will see DX assume responsibility for Rhenus’s two-person home delivery services across the UK and Ireland, reinforcing scale and continuity in the Logistics and Transport sector.
Under the agreement, DX becomes the exclusive delivery partner for Rhenus’s European Home Delivery proposition in both markets. Deliveries will transfer through a phased handover into DX’s existing two-person delivery operation, a structure designed to protect service levels and minimise disruption for current enterprise customers.
The partnership brings together DX’s established national two-person delivery network and Rhenus’s European home delivery proposition. DX operates across the UK and Ireland, handling complex final-mile deliveries alongside parcel, freight, document, fulfilment and specialist services.
Founded more than 50 years ago, the company has expanded its logistics footprint in response to growing demand for large-item and premium home delivery.
For Rhenus, the agreement ensures uninterrupted access to two-person home delivery capabilities in the region without changes to existing customer contracts. For DX, it deepens its role in high-touch final-mile logistics and strengthens collaboration with international logistics providers operating across Europe.
Gary Dodsworth, managing director of Rhenus Overland Transport UK & Ireland, said continuity was central to the decision. “Securing continuity and service quality for our customers has been pivotal to our decision. Partnering with DX brings the experience and scale required to provide a premium two-person home delivery service in the UK and Ireland.”
He added: “We are confident that customers will continue to receive the same high level of service as deliveries transition to DX,” noting the combined strengths of both organisations during the handover.
