DX has expanded its Executive Leadership Team with the appointment of Karl Hodgkinson as Director of Strategic Growth, New Propositions and Integrated Solutions, a newly created role within the Group. The appointment reflects DX's continuing growth ambitions following the appointment of its new chief executive in June 2025.

DX is a British logistics provider headquartered in Datchet, Berkshire, operating across parcel, freight, fulfilment and final mile services in the UK and Ireland. The company was taken private by H.I.G. Capital in a $307 million acquisition in January 2024, having last reported revenue of £471.2 million and EBITDA of £60.2 million for the year to July 2023.

Hodgkinson takes responsibility for identifying and developing new propositions, DX confirmed, including expansion into new sectors and customer segments and the introduction of new services.

The structural driver is DX's push to convert its existing parcel, freight, fulfilment and final mile capabilities into integrated solutions for customers, a strategy the new role is specifically designed to lead.

Hodgkinson joins DX from Howard Tenens, one of the UK's largest independently owned logistics companies, where he spent three years as Group Development, Marketing and Innovation Director, having previously served as Managing Director of Logistics and Commercial Director. He brings more than 30 years of experience across logistics, transport and supply chain, spanning large-scale operations, business transformation, acquisitions and joint ventures.

Karl brings a wealth of experience gained in senior positions across the logistics industry and will be a valuable addition to our leadership team. Hodgkinson will work closely with the DX Board and other members of the Executive Leadership Team as the company develops the next phase of its strategy.

For the sector, the appointment points to a wider trend among UK logistics providers of building dedicated leadership functions to convert operational scale into integrated, cross-service customer propositions.
