ASCO has opened a new regional office at the Wilton Centre in Teesside, strengthening its presence in the North East to support a growing portfolio of major energy, infrastructure and industrial projects. The site will serve as a hub for the company's operations in central UK and the North East.

ASCO is a British logistics and materials management company headquartered in Aberdeen, Scotland, backed by private equity firm Endless. The company reported group revenue of £637.9 million for 2022.

The company is already supporting major projects including Net Zero Teesside, Hornsea 3 and Dogger Bank offshore wind farms, as well as defence, marine and industrial sectors. ASCO delivers integrated services across quayside delivery, ships agency, storage, workforce and recruitment, logistics, materials management, fuels, lifting assurance and environmental services, including hazardous and non-hazardous waste management.

The structural driver is Teesside's expanding role in the UK's energy transition, with ASCO positioning permanent local infrastructure to serve offshore wind, decarbonisation and defence projects concentrated in the region.

The company is the exclusive provider of quayside management services at Steel River Quay, forming part of the Teesworks complex and supporting nearly 70 jobs.
